My family and I worked with Jojo on the sale of our home in 2016 and purchase of a new home late last year. Throughout the process Jojo went above and beyond what would be expected of any realtor. On the sale side, she helped with taking care of small fixes (she actually fixed stuff herself), staging our home, generating a ton of interest and most of all she has a great attitude – she was always available to us for whatever we needed. We had offers within days of our first open house. Not only is Jojo highly knowledgeable of the housing market, she also knows construction. On the purchase side, she was able to easily spot out potential problems immediately upon walking into a home (electrical, foundational, code violations, etc.). She guided us through a very difficult housing market in which there were numerous offers on every home, all cash buyers and investors that we couldn’t compete with. When we finally found “the one,” we were able to beat out eight offers without having the highest or best offer, thanks to her creativity and the relationship she was able to establish with seller and seller’s agent. We never once doubted that Jojo was always working in our best interest. She handled everything for us; meeting with inspectors, contractors, vendors of all types, down to writing letters to sellers on our behalf. The current trend for many is to reduce the involvement of realtors from buying/selling process. We would not be where we are today if we had taken this route. We will always consider Jojo our realtor of record and a close friend.
Melinda is a rainmaker in a drought. We got ourselves into a bad position, bought anew house before selling our existing residence in Anaheim Hills. A really dumb thing to do. Melinda saved us, she ran realtor viewing parties, advertised, and finally procured a decent offer from qualified buyers. She structured the sale so that everybody was happy, a very creative result. It helped that Melinda also represented the buyer, sold their house in 5 days to make the deal work, then took over and handled the administrative aspects with the least amount of inconvenience. I was involved in the mortgage biz for over 20 years and am HIGHLY skeptical of all realtors but when it came time to sell my Mothers home after her passing I was unnerved as well. I interviewed two other useless realtors (or should I say listing agents) and then Melinda walked into my life. I have NEVER, EVER, run into a more professional team as well as compassionate group of people in my entire life.
